A Bowie Brilliance Reimagined

Prepare to be spellbound by a musical masterpiece reborn. BLACKSTAR SYMPHONY isn't simply a concert, it's a musical experience that transcends time and genre. Immerse yourself in the sonic tapestry of David Bowie's final, critically acclaimed album, Blackstar, reimagined for a 65-piece orchestra.

Artistic Director Donny McCaslin, who along with keyboardist Jason Lindner and bassist Tim Lefebvre helped create the original Blackstar recording, bring their electrifying energy to the stage. Joining them are Bowie's longtime bandmate Gail Ann Dorsey, along with vocalist David Poe and the indispensable rhythmic talents of drummer Nate Wood, all under the masterful baton of conductor Tim Davies.  Special guest artist John Cameron Mitchell adds his unique theatrical flair to the mix.

The evening climaxes with a celebration of Bowie's iconic song catalog, featuring touchstones like "Space Oddity," "Life on Mars," and "Heroes." Prepare to be transported through his musical landscape, each song a testament to the enduring legacy of the Starman himself.

Don’t miss this rare chance to experience Bowie's final musical offering in a live setting. BLACKSTAR SYMPHONY is a poignant tribute, and a celebration of pure musical genius.

As Rolling Stone declared, "Blackstar is Bowie's best." Get ready to witness it live, reimagined, and amplified for the ages.

There will be one intermission during the performance.
