Orchestras and audiences can reach warp speed together in this performance of Michael Giacchino’s thrilling score, performed live to a full feature-length screening of J.J. Abrams’ 2009 film, Star Trek!!

Arrive early for the costume contest in the lobby!

Ticket holders are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Trek character as part of our pre-concert costume contest! Starting an hour before the concert, stop by the customer service table in the lobby to have your photo taken and enter to win. The lucky winner(s) will receive an autographed copy of the official 2009 movie poster and a signed CD of the soundtrack, courtesy of Star Trek composer Michael Giacchino!

Winner(s) will be notified by email, Monday, February 2.

Picture this, indeed! Pair up art works from the Portland Art Museum with some of the most beautiful classical music ever written and you have a feast for the eyes and the ears.

And because March 8 is a Miller Family Free Day at the Art Museum, your family can make a day of it and view the exhibits free of charge before or after the concert! Just a short walk from the Schnitz, PAM’s doors will be open between 10 am – 5 pm.
